If you're a budding entrepreneur who needs help to develop a new business idea don't miss the chance to find out about the GRIST (Great Ideas in Science & Technology) scheme at the next GRIST drop-in session at University Centre Hastings on 6 October, 3-6pm.
The session aims to attract people who have a great idea for a new science- or technology-based product or service but need financial and practical help in preparing a business plan and setting up in business. The GRIST Project Manager will be on hand to answer questions on how the scheme works and what kind of projects may be eligible.
"Many excellent business ideas never see the light of day because of a lack of funds and support," comments Peter Rock, Director of GRIST Marketing, the company promoting the scheme. "With a GRIST interest-free loan to help with living and operational expenses, and access to the experts and facilities at the University of Brighton, we hope to help launch a number of successful Hastings-based entrepreneurs in the next few months."
GRIST is a dynamic enterprise scheme backed by the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) and delivered through the Universities of Brighton, Kent and Surrey.
