Leading up to National Bike Week (11-20 June 2005), the University
of Brighton's 'Bike Promotion Week' is running from 31 May to 3 June.
The aims of Bike Promotion Week is to encourage anyone who might benefit
from taking up cycling as a transport option, and to raise awareness
of local health and environmental issues.

Also as part of Bike Promotion Week, the university Sport and Recreation Service is donating a number of vouchers for students to get £10 off cycle helmets. Did you know cyclists wearing one are 85% less likely to suffer serious head injuries? Enjoy the summer!
