Looking for a place at university this autumn? Help is at hand at University Centre Hastings.
The University of Brighton is running clearing advice and late enrolment events at UCH on Thursday 18 and Friday 19 August from 10.00am until 4.00pm. If you are interested in applying to university for one of our full-time undergraduate programmes starting this September, but are not sure what to do, why not come along?
Prospective students will be able to discuss their needs with staff, discover more about the options open to them and find out about the range of support services available. Courses on offer include Business, Internet Computing, Tourism and Enterprise Management and Sport and Fitness.
There is no need to book - just turn up and make sure you have your results and if you have them, your UCAS details. The friendly team of experienced staff will be on standby to advise and guide students through the University Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) clearing process. This is a system that matches up undergraduate course vacancies with students who are still seeking a place at university.
Margaret Wallis, Head of Co-ordination and Development for the centre said: "This can be an anxious time for students, but a team will be on hand to offer advice and help. Students can find out about the whole range of courses available and we can help those who have achieved higher or lower grades than they were expecting."
Details of all University Centre Hastings's anticipated clearing vacancies will be published on our website on 18 August 2005 at www.uch.ac.uk.
