New Faculty of Arts and Architecture website launched

05.12.2005

The Faculty of Arts and Architecture at the University of Brighton has today launched a new website at www.brighton.ac.uk/arts.

Designed by Russell Hrachovec of Compound Eye, a graduate from the university, the site is visually rich; it includes an image gallery for each course and showcases many examples of work by both staff and students.

The new faculty website

The new website outlines the full range of courses and academic programmes on offer, including BA Interior Architecture, Editorial Photography and History of Design and Material Culture.

It includes several key areas such as a whole section dedicated to the Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning through Design (CETLD), which aims to develop, document and disseminate excellence and innovation in teaching and learning. It also provides links to other faculty websites, including the design archives, screen archives, and the Aldrich collection.

The site adheres to the latest requirements for creating accessible designs, making the site available to the widest possible audience.

"The site is visually impactive and outlines the wide range of work that the school is involved with such as CELTD," said Anne Boddington Head of the School of Architecture and Design. "The site will develop as more content comes online so I would advise visitors to keep coming back."
