The latest Guardian league tables ranks eight courses at the University of Brighton to be amongst the top performers in the country.
The following all feature in the top 20 this year:
- Architecture (13)
- Earth and marine sciences (10)
- Electrical engineering (15)
- Mathematics (18)
- Mechanical engineering (6)
- Medicine (16)
- Nursing and paramedical studies (9)
- Tourism, transport and travel (9)
The league tables assess a variety of measures including job prospects, value added to students, student to staff ratio, entry scores and inclusiveness.
Vice Chancellor, Julian Crampton said: "This is good news for us as a university and a boost for our courses and the academic staff that teach them."
"I am delighted to see we've been rated very highly on job prospects, inclusiveness and value-added - which means the ability to bring the best out of our students. These values are at the heart of what we are trying to achieve as a university."
