We welcome the fact that industrial action has now been suspended nationally and we regret the disruption and anxiety that this has caused to students and their parents.
We hope that examination boards will be able to meet as scheduled in the next few weeks, that final results will be notified to students as planned and that we shall be able to celebrate our students' success at the awards ceremonies in the last week of July.
We
wish to assure all students that the university has made no adjustments
to its academic regulations in order to cope with the impact of industrial
action and that the quality of academic awards made by the University
of Brighton has not been compromised in any way.
