The staff of the University of Brighton Sport and Recreation department are extremely excited to be running a series of fun events on 15 July from raffles to 'beat the keeper' contests to accumulate 150 miles to raise money for Sport Relief. There will be two races on the day which will have a twist in that they will be in the form of obstacle courses! Everybody's invited to join in the fun!
The event will kick off at 10am, with the final Mile event at 1.00pm. There will be a raffle, as well as climbing wall fun and a 'beat the keeper' competition.
Kay Skinner, Duty Officer and event organiser said: "We are delighted to be hosting another sports relief event here at the University of Brighton. Its is wonderful to know that we can play a part in the local community helping to raise money for vulnerable people leading tough lives in the UK and those in the poorest countries round the world. This year is going to better than ever so hurry and get your red socks ready!"
