The first students graduated from University Centre Hastings (UCH) at a ceremony held on Friday 28 July.
The University Centre, which opened in 2003, offers courses from several universities and is managed by the University of Brighton.

Richard Dyer, one of the 14 UCH students to graduate from University of Brighton courses, was awarded a first class honours degree in Internet Computing. Alongside fellow graduate Marney Booth, he has secured a job locally at Hastings-based marketing company Adams Creative.
Richard Dyer said: "It's fantastic to be offered a job - I wouldn't have done a degree if it hadn't been for UCH. I really enjoyed the course and I've made a really good group of friends."
Marney Booth also studied Internet Computing, having always been interested in computers. Whilst completing her degree, she worked part time at Adams Creative and continued to bring up a young daughter. She was named in the Vice Chancellor Julian Crampton's opening address as an example of a successful student who has found employment.
She said: "All the hard work has paid off and now I'm being asked when I'm going to do a Masters or PhD!"
Fellow graduate Shane Selby said, "I really enjoyed the course and the small class sizes meant that you got personal attention. Also the facilities were fantastic and very modern." Shane is now looking for a job in internet design.
Margaret Wallis, UCH Head of Co-ordination, said: "I'm so proud of all the students. They've worked really hard and it's great to see them graduate."
