Fox Williams sponsor acclaimed London graduate fashion show

24.05.2007

Fox Williams, the UK lawyers specialising in fashion law, is to sponsor for the third consecutive year the University of Brighton's London graduate fashion show.

Taking place at the internationally renowned venue, Ministry of Sound, on 7 June, this unique event unveils the designs of the university's most talented fashion and textile students.

London catwalk models will showcase the students' collections to an exclusive audience of industry professionals. The event is a launch pad for the university's top graduates into the fashion industry.

Emerging talents include Tamara Elliott (design pictured top right), who has just secured a job in New York with American Eagle and will be launching her collection alongside Jill Robertson's bold printed designs that interplay with clever cutting.

Knitwear student, Alexandra Geldenhuys (design pictured bottom right), has used recycled and organic materials to produce a collection that competes with the best. She aims to reduce her impact on the environment but also to demonstrate the potential of the process of recycling to inform intelligent design.

Fashion & Textiles programme leader at the university, Malcolm McInnes said: "The audience can expect to be dazzled by breathtaking designs and the innovative use of colour and fabrics. The diversity of ideas and creativity is the show's real strength".

Philippa Aldrich, Partner at Fox Williams said: "Fox Williams is delighted to once again be supporting this unique show and to be investing in the fashion designers of the future".
