Exclusive alumni careers advice
Published 15 July 2010
In response to the recent recession, the Brighton Graduate Association (BGA) has teamed up with the university's careers centre to appoint an Alumni Careers Development Advisor. Previously, alumni could only access one-to-one career guidance for up to two years after graduation, but now there is no time limit, and they have their own named contact.
Robert Prosser is available for appointments on weekdays to provide career guidance to alumni. He offers evening appointments on Tuesdays for alumni who cannot attend during normal office hours. The service is freely available to all University of Brighton alumni.
Robert is also working on enhancing the standard and availability of career advice and guidance to our former students worldwide. If you would like to access this service, please get in touch: 01273 642855 or email careers@brighton.ac.uk for details.
Early take-up indicates that Robert's advice is highly sought after. Consultations range from new graduates looking for their first jobs, recession-affected alumni seeking re-employment, to experienced alumni exploring creative career development. .
