Hats off to our graduates

Graduands at this year's University of Brighton's summer award ceremonies will share the stage with former student and legendary designer Barbara Hulanicki and former Sussex and England cricketer, Surrey's cricket manager Chris Adams, who will both be awarded honorary degrees from the university.
More than 5,000 students will be receiving their awards this year from the university – graduating in a range of subjects as diverse as: automotive engine design, law with accountancy, midwifery, three-dimensional design, architecture and pharmacy.
Eight ceremonies will take place over five days from 26 to 30 July at the Dome in Brighton. The new graduates will collect their awards from the university's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Julian Crampton, and the chairman of the Board of Governors, Lord Mogg.
Professor Crampton said: "Award ceremonies are very special days for the university. I am struck by the wealth of talent and the sense of community which exists at the university.
"Universities are about people and it is the students and staff of the university that make these ceremonies possible. For staff, this is a high point of the academic year – for graduates, it is a significant milestone. I would like to offer all the students my warmest congratulations."
Brighton Graduate Association
The Brighton Graduate Association (BGA) is the official alumni network for the University of Brighton. It continues the lifelong relationship the university aspires to maintain with all of its students, past and present. As the university’s newest alumni, this week's graduates benefit from even more initiatives to support them in their professional lives: from bespoke careers counselling, to a permanent university email address and access to a worldwide network of 60,000 alumni.
