Sometimes it's just not possible to arrange your accommdation before you arrive here.
Short-term options
If you are going to be a student here for a very short time, or need somewhere short-term to stay while you are looking for more permanent accommodation you could book into a hotel, guesthouse or hostel. If you are staying for more than a few days you may be able to negotiate a reduced rate.
The Accommodation Office can provide you with a list of hotels or you can view a list at: www.visitbrighton.com.
Where to look for accommodation
• www.yourstudentpad.co.uk is the university's student accommodation site and should be your first stop. You can search online for all kinds of rented accommdation. You will need your own ID and password, which you can get from the Accommodation Office.
