About the school

The School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences is one of the UK's leading university departments for pharmacy, biology, chemistry and biomedical education.

We have demonstrated excellence in teaching and learning and are proud of our reputation for producing highly employable and adaptable graduates and postgraduates.

The school offers a comprehensive range of honours degree, PhD and masters degree programmes. Our extensive applied research and consultancy activity ensures that these courses are up to date, relevant and serve the needs of both students and employers.

The curriculum is relevant and modern, with the Pharmacy and Biomedical Science degrees having full professional accreditation throughout the course, and there are close links with the Brighton and Sussex Medical School.

The school is located in the Huxley Building of the Moulsecoomb site, about 2 miles from the sea front, pier and Brighton city centre, with library, study and computing facilities catered for within the campus. As well as being one of the warmest and sunniest cities in the UK, Brighton is cosmopolitan, cultural and great fun.

You can be sure that you will receive the warmest of welcomes should you visit for one of our open days, or come and join us to study in a rewarding and stimulating academic environment.
