Research Interests
Working within the Disease Processes research group, on the theme of lung physiology and pathology.
Use of cultured airway epithelial cells to study:
- Mechanism and control of mucus secretion
- Mechanism and control of ciliary activity
- Airway epithelial permeability
- Toxicity and irritancy
- Drug permeability using in vitro models
