Research Interests

Working within the Disease Processes research group, on the theme of lung physiology and pathology.

Use of cultured airway epithelial cells to study:

  • Mechanism and control of mucus secretion
  • Mechanism and control of ciliary activity
  • Airway epithelial permeability
  • Toxicity and irritancy
  • Drug permeability using in vitro models
