- Stress and alcohol abuse – Investigating the factors which modulate the effects of stress on alcohol-related behaviours in heavy social drinkers. Exploring the role of serotonin (5-HT) in these effects using dietary tryptophan enhancement.
- Effects of stress and tryptophan enhancement on emotional facial expression recognition.
- Reinforcement mechanisms in caffeine addiction.
Professional Memberships
I am a member of the British Association for Psychopharmacology (BAP). I have been a student member of the BAP as well as of the European Behavioural Pharmacology Society (EBPS) since 1999.
