Research interests
- Imaging and analysis of nanomaterials, applying scanning electron microscopy (SEM), scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM), and atomic force microscopy (AFM) technologies.
- The effects of particle composition and size, upon cellular interactions influencing the uptake and distribution of nanoparticles, employing in-vitro cell assays and confocal microscopy (CLSM).
- Investigating size and polydispersity shifts in polymeric nanoparticle systems in response to compositional and environmental changes, utilising Photon Correlation Spectroscopy (PCS).
- The influence of particle composition on the loading potential of the systems, for drug delivery and cell imaging applications.
