Postitions of responsibility

Senior lecturer within the pharmaceutical chemistry team. Teaching duties include lecturing, tutorials, computer classes and laboratory exercises across eight modules within all four years of the School contributing primarily to the Masters of Pharmacy course (MPharm), Masters of Research (MRes) and also BSc Pharmaceutical and Chemical Sciences. Primary teaching focuses are stereochemistry and analytical chemistry.

  • Various research projects in collaboration with others within the School and externally such as the University of Hertfordshire and Liverpool John Moores University. These collaborations are reflected in the publications list.
  • Externally represent the School on the New Scientists Group (a focus group of the Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences).
  • Joint Chair of the session “New developments in pharmaceutical sciences in the U.K” at the British Pharmaceutical Conference in Manchester, 2004 and 2008.
