Professional development

Now more than ever, you as a working professional need to be able to update your skills and broaden your knowledge. The difficulty is finding the time and the right course.

At the University of Brighton, we can offer you flexible courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. With strong working partnerships and the development of the new centre for Postgraduate and Professional studies co-ordinated by Dr Angela MacAdam, we are able to offer professional courses to improve your career prospects either in your existing work or, as a change of career and you can fit them around your existing work commitments.

Modular and long distance study

Many of our postgraduate courses are delivered either in modules that can be taken individually as part of your continuing professional development programme or by distance learning for industry. This may involve an intensive period of study of up to one week or can be delivered in the workplace and you attend an assessment day at the university.
