PASS is a student-led initiative where issues relating to your course material and university life can be discussed in a friendly, informal environment with your peers.
PASS provides an opportunity to make new friends on your course and study together; it's a safe place to ask questions and gain confidence in your studies.
Technical support
The School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences offers a team of dedicated and experienced technicial staff across a range of disciplines who are always at hand to assist you in use of laboratory equipment and apparatus. The technical team has responsibility for the maintenance and support of all equipment and for the provision of services for teaching and research laboratories within the school. With central facilities for cell culture, image analysis, electron microscopy, spectroscopy and radiochemistry, dedicated glass-blowing, electronics and mechanical workshops. The school also supports a computer pool room located on the 5th floor of the cockcroft building with IT support staff to advise on computing issues and software support.
Study support
The school has a dedicated Student Support and Welfare Officer, Dr Hal Sosabowski, who can help you with any problems you may experience during your study here. Each student is also assigned an academic personal tutor in their first year of study. This will be your first point of contact and students retain their personal tutor throughout their studies. The university also offers full online study support through our interactive student network studentcentral.
Administrative support
The school office in C608 on the 6th floor of the Huxley building coordinates the administrative support for all courses.
This includes supplying forms for mitigating circumstances, timetables for lectures and exams, course handbooks, announcements about changes in timetables, and coordinating submission of project work.

There are two specialist librarians in Aldrich library who are able to assist students studying courses from the school.
