Professor Hal Sosabowski, Professor of Public Understanding of Science at the University of Brighton, has been busy taking his popular 'BiggerBang' science show to audiences around the globe.
The Bigger Bang aims to demonstrate the power of chemistry by taking spectacular exhibition science (exploding ostrich eggs anyone?), adding a high level of audience participation and a twist of anarchic humour to produce an entertaining and educational family show.
The BiggerBang team (which is Hal and Dave Campbell from the School of Pharmacy at the University of Brighton plus Mike Sansom of Brighton Fireworks) recently performed three shows at the Abu Dhabi Science Festival.
Two days earlier the team were in Moscow for the Russian Festival of Science where they put on a BiggerBang science show for a 1000-strong Russian family audience.
Hal was a hit with the Russian media, and was interviewed for the Russia24 TV chanel and the Voice of Russia radio show and its 6 million listeners.
You can catch Hal's and the 'BiggerBang' closer to home in Brighton this December. For more information and booking click here.
