What is Adjustment?
Adjustment is for UCAS applicants who gain better exam results than they expected and is an opportunity to reconsider where and what to study. Adjustment is open to you if you have met and exceeded the conditions of your firm choice offer. While you are in Adjustment, you can hold on to your Firm Choice. If you want to use Adjustment you will first need to register for Adjustment in Track. You will have a maximum of five days to register and secure an alternative course. Full details of this process are on the UCAS website

Adjustment is an extra opportunity to explore your choices, if you wish to do so. The University of Brighton would recommend that you speak to your careers advisor, your teachers and your parents before deciding to Adjust to another university. You should also consider carefully the implications of changing your Firm choice, such as finding accommodation and ensuring that your student finance will still be in place on time. Find more help and advice about accommodation, money and living here on our student life pages.
