Prospective students at the University of Brighton

Spend time abroad

Complete a part of your qualification overseas

Spending time abroad can be both a personally and professionally enriching experience. Study abroad is an integral part of some of our courses and an option in many others.

Our courses in business, computing, construction, engineering, fashion and textile design, geography, nursing, service management and social science all offer opportunities to study abroad. Our School of Sport and Service Management has a long-standing working relationship with Walt Disney World, Florida, and recruiters visit our campus each year to select students for year-long internships at the resort.

Erasmus study exchange programme

The Erasmus programme enables students to spend up to a year of their course on study placement at one of our partner insitutions.

Placements abroad

Many courses offer the option of spending a year on work placement and this too can involve time abroad.

The University of Brighton has well-established links with universities, businesses and professional organisations across Europe, the USA, Canada and beyond.

You can find details of placement options within the course details in our course finder.

You can also contact the admissions contact named in the course description for more information.
