The Brighton Doctoral College was established in 2011 and it represents a collective of research degree students, their supervisors, Directors of Postgraduate Studies and administrative staff. We have taken significant steps to enhance the experience of our research students as our contribution to developing the next generation of researchers.
Our aim is to nurture and celebrate our researchers challenging, rewarding and successful journeys with a highly supportive environment in which to undertake doctoral studies. We have a growing research profile across a broad range of disciplines, enhancing our contribution to increasing economic, cultural and social wellbeing across the world.
There are six Doctoral College Centres across our campuses and these are supported by staff and services to help you during your time with us. Their success was recognised in our March 2013 QAA report.
