Our research degrees are flexible in their delivery, and so our research student community includes recent graduates, experienced academics and professionals and people who are returning to education after several years.

Many students who register for the MPhil go on to transfer to complete their PhD.

If you originally enrolled on an MPhil you will be given an extra year to complete after you transfer to the PhD.
My previous university recommended the Brighton for language research and when I came down to check the place out, I realised that it is also a really great city.
