Biography
BSc (Hons) Exercise Science (Brighton University). PhD in Exercise Physiology (University of Brighton). Louisa completed her PhD on “High intensity intermittent exercise training in patients with chronic heart failure” in 2010, and has worked on several additional collaborative projects with the Cardiology Department at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.
Louisa is a BACPR (British Association for Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation) Exercise Instructor, and has worked at the University’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Programme and as a fitness consultant on the GP Exercise Referral Programme for Freedom Leisure.
Louisa has completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education and teaches exercise physiology, nutrition, exercise referral and exercise and health science on the BSc and MSc degree courses.
