Biography

Paul has been engaged in education, training and development for over 20 years. He has been a Head of School with the University of Brighton since 1992, first as Head of the Centre for Management Development (5 years) and currently as Head of the School of Service Management.

He has worked for a number of international organisations both in the UK, France and in the USA. He has held the position of Chief Executive Officer for an international education and development charity and as partner in a private management development consultancy firm.

As a result of his professional experiences in both the public and private sectors, coupled with his experiences of working with large multinational organisations as well as small medium sized enterprises, Dr Frost is an expert in the principles of learning and in the development of individuals and organisations. He has designed, written, produced and operated numerous development programmes for university delivered qualifications, organisationally focused training and development provision, and offered one to one support for many senior managers trying to bring about change in their organisation.

Paul is the Founding Chairman of the Historical Vehicle Research Institute, a registered charity whose patrons include Lord Montague of Beaulie. He has also been successful in securing nearly one million pounds of grant funding for the restoration of an 18th Century windmill which resides in his back garden.

Qualifications

Paul has a BA(Hons) in Business and Management and an MSc in Industrial Relations. His PhD focused on the attitudes and behaviour of managers as they sought to support their own position within organisations.
