Biography

Academic qualifications include: History and Economics BA [Joint Special Hons.] (The University of Bristol); a PGCE (Keswick Hall College, Norwich); an MA in Education (The University of Leeds); an M.Ed. in Philosophy (The University of Manchester); a PhD in Philosophy of Education (The University of London, Institute of Education); a Cert. Lang. in French (The University of Brighton); a Dip. Lang. in French (The University of Brighton); and a Cert. Lang. in Spanish (University of Brighton).

Research-related interests have been in the philosophy of education, moral education, and more recently in aspects of sport and physical education which can be explored through methods of philosophy. Research-related achievements include conference presentations as well as article publications.
