Children took part in the scheme called “F4P @ Eastbourne Town”, held from 2 - 4 April 2012. Leading coaches from Football 4 Peace who are physical education and sport coaching students from the Chelsea School of Sport ran the first two sessions at the University of Brighton Sports Centre in Denton Road on 2 and 3 April.
The youngsters then took part in a Festival of Football at Eastbourne Town Football Club on 4 April.
The scheme is aimed at not only improving football skills but, in line with the work carried out all over the world by Football 4 Peace, promotes communication skills, enhances interaction, helps children to appreciate the importance of equity and inclusion, breaks down inhibitions, develops responsibility, and builds trust, cooperation and sharing.

Each child received a free t-shirt, certificate and medal.
