Innovative and relevant

We are at the forefront of teaching, research and consultancy in sport-related studies. There are many opportunities for you to gain additional skills and experience alongside your degree. 

This includes the opportunity to volunteer for Football 4 Peace, an activity-based community relations and reconciliation initiative. Sports coaches, community leaders and volunteers work alongside each other bringing differing communities together through football and aspects of outdoor education.

Outstanding location

The course is taught at the Eastbourne campus, which is home to 3,000 students and located less than 10 minutes from the beach at the foot of the South Downs National Park.

Considered the warmest and sunniest place in the UK, Eastbourne is a great place to study.

We continue to invest in the student learning experience and there are excellent learning and resource facilities at the Eastbourne campus.

You will have access to a library, study and computing facilities as well as a fully equipped sport centre with a swimming pool and state-of-the-art gym.

This is degree is very flexible and could lead to careers in a number of industries.

Your specialist subject knowledge will be ideally suited to roles in areas such as sports facility management and sports development, whilst your transferable management skills such as finance and marketing will make you an attractive candidate for positions in many other industries.
