Nadine Brelstaff
Sport Coaching BSc(Hons)
I chose to study at the University of Brighton because of its exceptional reputation for creating high quality graduate students.
Professional links
The best thing about studying here is the amazing experiences and opportunities that are made available to you throughout your degree. I have found this particularly applicable to the Sport Coaching course where the university’s links with various national and international organisations means that opportunities to develop your professional practice are plentiful.
Football4Peace
Last year I took up one of these opportunities and I was selected as a community coach for Football4peace, a co-existence project in Israel which is run by the university. The experience has moulded my way of thinking and has helped me to discover where my passion lies in regards to the type of career I am looking for after I graduate.
Excellent facilities and support
The flexibility of the course means that each person can shape their degree to their own interests and ambitions. Also, as a student on the Sport Coaching course you can take advantage of the excellent laboratory facilities and other first class sporting facilities.
The university also provides fantastic support to help you every step of the way to make sure you leave with the best possible experiences and qualifications.

Mark Tomsett
Sport Coaching BSc(Hons)
I came to the University of Brighton as a mature student.
Facilities
The best thing about the University is the wide range of facilities it offers all of the students. The teaching on the Sports Coaching degree is, in my opinion, outstanding, with all of the lecturers displaying extremely good knowledge.
The course itself does not focus solely on Sports Coaching, it instead allows you the freedom to explore other avenues alongside the Sports Science and PE degrees, offering options for every student.
Support
The support I have received has been fantastic, especially with trying to juggle university work around a full time job!
There is an extensive network of research materials available to ensure you never go short when completing assignments and I would thoroughly recommend this course to anyone looking to explore Sports Coaching further.
