The Culinary Arts Studio is a fully equipped commercial kitchen for use by our hospitality students.

Sport and exercise science laboratories

Our laboratories specialise in biomechanics, biochemistry, exercise physiology and the impact of environmental conditions.

They are accredited by the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES) and used by elite athletes when preparing for competition.

Sports facilities

There is a wide range of sports facilities for you to use including a new fitness suite, 25-metre swimming pool, artificial training pitch, gymnasia and dance studios.

Welkins halls of residence

Set in landscaped gardens with gated entrances, our halls house 350 students in en suite bedrooms. Rooms are gathered in self-contained flats with shared kitchen and communal areas.

There is also a catered hall providing breakfast and evening meal (included in costs) Monday to Friday during term-time.
