Open days
An open day is an ideal opportunity to find out more about the university, to discover more about the courses and facilities at the School of Sport and Service Management and to explore the campus and the surrounding area in Eastbourne.
Our Sept/Oct open days are large scale events for students who wish to find out more about studying with us from September 2013.
There will be a packed day of activities including:
- Talks about the school; sessions with lecturers from each degree course
- Information about student services and support, money, health, wellbeing and accommodation
- The chance to talk to Students’ Union and the Sport and Recreation Service representatives
- Staff on hand to answer all your questions about applying, entry requirements, the curriculum, careers and so on.
Tour the campus
Our student ambassadors will be around to talk with you and show you around all the excellent facilities of the School such as the Culinary Arts Studio, laboratories and sports facilities. You will be able to visit student accommodation. You are welcome to be accompanied by family or friends.
Booking a place to attend a subject specific open day
These are open to everyone, whether you are an offer-holder or are yet to apply.
We will be on hand to provide you with all the information you need about making university your next step, we can also answer any questions and give you advice based on your individual circumstances.

Hospitality, tourism, travel, retail or journalism course open days
If you apply to us for any other course areas, and we offer you a place, then during the year you will be invited personally to a special post-application day when you can find out extensive detail about your course and being a student at the university.
