Research facilities
Sport and exercise laboratories
Our sport and exercise science laboratories are equipped for experiments in biomechanics, physiology, environmental physiology, exercise and biochemistry.
The laboratories have been used to support the development of international athletes and para-athletes.
They are equipped for research into areas including motion analysis, climatic stress, extreme environmental conditions, nutrition, diabetes and obesity.

Culinary Arts Studio
The Culinary Arts Studio is our hospitality management research laboratory.
It enables our researchers and students to engage in hospitality management action learning, engage in food sensory evaluation and food and beverage consumer behaviour research.
The Culinary Arts Studio also allows our researchers to develop innovative food and drink products or test new methods of food and drink preparation.

Research area
Research students have the use of two dedicated rooms equipped with computers and printers, as well as Wi-Fi for their own laptops.
These areas can also serve as social gathering areas and enable masters students to mix with other research students.
