Profile
Hannah gained her PhD in Social Psychology at Loughborough University for her thesis which explored young people's sexual negotiations. She has taught qualitative methods and social psychology at University College Northampton, University of the West of England, and Plymouth University before joining the University of Brighton in 2007.
Hannah has previously conducted research in schools with young people about their visual and textual representations of identity on a project funded by the Arts and Humanities Research council.
Hannah is currently working on a qualitative study of the experiences of an altered appearance during cancer treatment for adolescent patients and their families funded by the charity CLIC Sargent.
