New knowledge exchange project on systems and complex systems in public policy and practice

Updated 01.03.11

Staff in the School of Applied Social Science and the Community University Partnership Programme (CUPP) have recently started a new project on systems and complex systems. This project is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council, and 24 participants from the university and the local community have been recruited.

This project will create an online and real time community of practice for academics and practitioners to disseminate knowledge and research findings on systems and complex systems approaches to organisation and management and professional working in the public and voluntary sector. The project commenced in January 2011 and will run until September. It will culminate in a conference at the university where key ideas will be summarised, presented and discussed.
