Professor Marian Barnes spoke at two events in Italy in May 2011. The first, in Trento, was organised by the publisher, Erickson, to promote the Italian publication of her book, Caring and Social Justice, published by Macmillan in England. This was an event for social care practitioners focussing on how to avoid conflict in care.
