School success in the National Student Survey

The National Student Survey (NSS), published in August by the Higher Education Funding Council for England, showed an overall student satisfaction rate of 90% in social policy (which also includes criminology), and 92% in politics. The overall student satisfaction rate for sociology was 85%, and for psychology 80%.

The NSS gathers feedback on students' perception of their courses from all UK universities to help inform future applicants where to choose venues for higher education, and to contribute to public accountability.

We would like to thank all our final year students who completed the survey and all staff for contributing to the quality of the student experience.
