Research Skills for Practitioners Programme

What the programme offers

The programme offers three different kinds of learning opportunities for practitioners:

  • An annual programme of six taught research skills workshops.
  • Workshops developed individually for a particular agency or organisation. These workshops could be one of the advertised taught workshops or one of a more specialised range, examples of which include research analysis, involving older people in service review or researching with children.
  • One-off working seminars/master classes in one of the research specialisms of the research team which include involvement, working with peer researchers, participatory research techniques and other more specialised or advanced methodologies.
