The Faculty of Science & Engineering provides support for businesses and other organizations through consultancy, contract research, short courses and access to specialist facilities. The faculty has worked with a wide range of organisations including:

- Brighton and Hove City Council
- Continuum Blue
- East and West Sussex County Council
- St Jude Medical (Sweden)
The faculty also hosts the university’s Centre for Collaboration and Partnership which seeks to enhance the university's collaboration with industry, offering business development opportunities through government funded Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP), professional training through its Continuing Professional Development (CPD) short courses, and student placements across the science and engineering disciplines.
