Rolls Royce event

The event, run in partnership with Chichester and Arun District Councils, was hosted by Rolls Royce and held at the company’s manufacturing plant near Chichester.

The visitors heard presentations by Professor Morgan Heikal and Dr Mathew Philip (School of Environment and Technology), Vice-Chancellor Sir David Watson, Dave Hartley of Eurotherm Ltd, who talked about student placements, and Eddie Cutts of Aegis Rubber Engineering Ltd who reflected on the benefits of his company’s two Knowledge Transfer Partnership programmes. This opportunity to hear about Brighton’s work was much appreciated. One company commented: “We welcome this proactive approach by the university. It makes it so much easier for us to understand what the university does.”
