DVD production

Sussex on Film DVDScreen Archive South East has produced various DVD programmes for public and educational use which work to introduce the archive’s mission, particular aspects of the collection and the region’s history. Some of these productions generate income to support the archive’s activities.

Many films in the Screen Archive's collection are non-fiction and are often displaced from their original historical context. Through the creation of archive programmes, such works are contextualised through the addition of details related to production, exhibition and subject matter. This not only adds value to the viewer’s understanding of the material but also encourages further research and interpretation.
