Students from across the School of Environment and Technology gathered on the morning of Wednesday 25th July for a prize giving ceremony held at the University of Brighton. This annual event, which took place prior to the summer Graduation Ceremony, celebrates exceptional academic achievement by our students.
Students of the School of Environment and Technology benefit enormously from our strong links with industry. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our industrial sponsors for once again helping us to recognise outstanding student achievement during the past academic year.
Amongst those receiving prizes for outstanding performance this year were:
- Amy Sweet - winner of the BA (Hons) Geography Prize;
- Ciara Gray - winner of the BA (Hons) Environment and Media Studies Prize;
- Emily Muggeridge - winner of the BSc (Hons) Geography Prize;
- Hayley Connor - winner of the BSc (Hons) Environmental Hazards Prize;
- Paul Kilkie - winner of the BSc (Hons) Earth and Ocean Sciences Prize;
- Robin Searle - winner of the BSc (Hons) Environmental Sciences Prize;
- Benjamin Rampley - winner of the Rory Mortimore Geology Prize;
- Graeme Mollins - winner of both the CIAT Architectural Technology Prize and the Hays Architectural Technology Prize;
- Jonathan Burgess - winner of the CIOB Certificate of Excellence - Construction Management;
- Edward Coxhead - winner of the Certificate of Excellence - Project Management and Shore Group Prize in Project Management;
- Ngonidzaishe Kandi - winner of the CIOB Certificate of Excellence - Architectural Technology;
- Laura Griggs - winner of the BLB BSc (Hons) Building Surveying Prize;
- Ian Morrison - winner of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Student Award;
- Grzegorsz Bialwas - winner of the Institution of Civil Engineers (Headquarters) Award;
- Gregory Lane- winner of the Foundation Degree Award
