Dr Samer Bagaeen, Course Leader for the Master of Science in Town Planning at the School of Environment and Technology, has been invited to become an Academician of the Academy of Urbanism. The Academy is a high level, cross sector group of individuals that champions the cause of good quality urbanism throughout the UK and Ireland. It is an invitation only membership organisation whose members share and disseminate the principles, techniques and processes of good urbanism. Dr Bagaeen is already a Corporate Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and of the Higher Education Academy where he is also Discipline Lead for Built Environment.
