School open days

School open days are intended for those who have already submitted an application. However, if you would like to attend an open day but have not yet submitted an application form please contact entec@brighton.ac.uk or phone +44 1273 642288 stating your name, contact details and course that you are interested in.

The School holds open days for all subject areas (i.e. Geography, Geology, Environment, Civil Engineering, Built Environment) and for 2013 entry they will be on:

  • Saturday 9 February 2013
  • Saturday 2 March 2013

School open days will take place in the Cockcroft building which is situated on the Moulsecoomb campus. You will have the chance to meet staff and current students and talk to them about your course and degree. You can also: take a library tour, see the facilities and accommodation and ask questions about University life. Open days have a complimentary lunch and finish in time for you to be able to have a look around Brighton before you take your trip home.

To book your place on one of our open days please complete the form below. The details you supply will only be used for the purposes of planning your open day. You will receive acknowledgement of your booking by email within 24 hours.

University open days

The University also runs open days in the autumn term at each of our sites and give you a chance to hear talks and take tours of university facilities including:

  • Library and learning facilities
  • Halls of residence
  • Sports and recreation facilities

General information talks are given throughout the day about aspects of studying at the University of Brighton. You'll also get the opportunity to attend subject talks and meet staff and students at informal drop-in sessions to get further course-related information and ask your own questions.
