Graduates from the School of Nursing and Midwifery are often featured in our alumni magazine, The Brighton Effect, as well as occasionally in local and national press. If you would like to be included in an edition of The Brighton Effect or on our website, or have recently been featured in the news, please do contact us and let us know. We are always looking for alumni stories, both big and small.
"Since I graduated I have been working for the Ministry of Defence primarily with the soldiers under training. We also care for the permanent staff and their families as well and I am now the lead nurse for the childhood immunisations. I recently completed a post graduate certificate in minor injuries and illness through my employer, further advancing my clinical skills enabling me to work more autonomously."
Juliet Bale, BSc (Hons) Midwifery 2009
"Since graduating from Brighton with a 2:1 degree in nursing I have achieved my dream job as a Pain Management Nurse in the hospital that I wanted to work in since the start of my training!"
Rhea Crighton, BSc (Hons) Nursing 2010
