Teaching

• Kevin is Course Leader for the Paramedic Practice BSc(Hons) degree. Alongside the teaching commitments for this program he teaches anatomy and physiology and advanced clinical skills on the pre-registration nursing courses.

Research interests

• Critical care practice – pre-hospital and hospital-based

• Positioning the critically ill

Profile

Kevin trained in Brighton and worked in Intensive Care and Cardiac Recovery areas before becoming Lecturer Practitioner with the Sussex Critical Care Network for Intensive Care from 2003 to 2006. Since joining the School of Nursing and Midwifery full-time he has twice been nominated for the 'Excellence in Facilitating/Empowering Learning' award.
