Learning environment

Our school is based on the university's Falmer and Eastbourne sites, and in two hospitals in Eastbourne and Hastings. Find out more about our study locations.

Practice learning

Practice education is a key element of many of our courses. This allows you to apply your knowledge and skills in a practice setting. Practice placements are audited annually in accordance with School of Nursing and Midwifery policy and Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) requirements. Most modules have a clinical component with assessment of clinical link activities or clinical skills, which may require mentor support.
