Clinical skills facilities
The school has an excellent reputation for teaching clinical skills in both pre-registration and post-registration courses.
There is a dedicated clinical skills facility on each of the three teaching sites. Pre-registration students are provided with the opportunity to practice skills in a safe environment under supervision, throughout their course.
Students using a child physiological mannequin
The clinical skills facilities are also used to teach physical assessment and other post-registration skills. The school has recently purchased a physiological mannequin for the Child Branch and similar wireless adult mannequins are soon to become available across all sites.
