Nursing courses on the rise in university league table

Nursing courses at the University of Brighton have recently been placed amongst the top 20 in the country and 2nd in the South East Region. They are ranked 19th out of 68 Higher Education Institutions around the UK by the Independent's Complete University Guide for 2010. The league tables, published on 30 April 2009, show that nursing courses have risen from a position of 26th last year. The league tables are based on four measures: Student Satisfaction, Research Quality, Entry Standards and Graduate Prospects, all with equal weighting.

The guide ranked the university 63 out of 113 institutions, up from 67 in the 2009 table.
