Our post-registration division has recently established new links with a European institution.
Nita Muir, head of international health studies at the school, and Annie Chellel, course leader for the Advanced Nurse Practitioner MSc, travelled to Paris where they met with Dr Christophe Debout, the associate director of the nursing and paramedicine department at the École des Hautes Études en Santé Publique (EHESP), Rennes-Sorbonne Paris Cité.
During the visit, Annie Chellel gave a lecture in French to students studying on the first and only advanced nursing practice masters degree to be created in France.
An Erasmus agreement focusing on professional development for academic staff with potential research developments will be established as a consequence of this new relationship.
